Axxess Telecom Wins 2003 #1 AltiGen Dealer of the Year Award

JACKSONVILLE - Axxess Telecom, a Jacksonville-based telecommunications company, has won AltiGen Communications 2003 #1 Dealer of the Year Award. Axxess was chosen from over 150 dealers nationwide as the top seller of AltiGen products.

AltiGen specializes in server-based telephone systems using voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) technology. Axxess sells the AltiGen systems to small and medium sized businesses throughout the Southeast from their Jacksonville-based headquarters.

"The quality of the AltiGen products and the long-term savings they provide our customers helps make our job easier and proves the value of our partnership with them," said Michael Smith, president, Axxess Telecom.

VoIP digitizes voice signals, sends them over the Internet, and then switches them back to voice signals on the other end, all within milliseconds. Online callers pay only for equipment and connections with no traditional long-distance toll charges for dialing any number using a similar VoIP system. Extensions do not require a dedicated cable to run from the phone to the phone system, so they can exist anywhere on a company LAN or around the world via the Internet.

Axxess Telecom was founded in 1999 to streamline communications systems and help businesses become more profitable. Specializing in mid-sized businesses, Axxess offers the most reliable products and cost-effective solutions from the most basic local service to fully integrated VoIP networks. Through a network of hundreds of certified technicians, Axxess can install and service systems virtually anywhere in the continental U.S.
